Lieutenant Commander Rachael Gosnell, U.S. Navy, is pursuing doctoral studies in international security and economic policy, with a focus on maritime security in the Arctic. A foreign area officer, she has served on board the USS Shiloh (CG-67) and Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) and as weapons officer and combat systems officer on board the USS Stockdale (DDG-106). She holds masters in international security studies from Georgetown University and engineering management from Old Dominion University and a bachelor of science in political science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
