On 10 May, as the Naval Institute’s 150th Annual Meeting concluded, family, friends, and admirers gathered in the Jack C. Taylor Center’s Grand Foyer to recognize Dr. J. Phillip London (1937–2021), a Life Member, board director, author, naval aviator, and corporate leader. Dr. London also was a philanthropist—giving generously to the Naval Institute and many other causes nationwide. On this occasion, the Proceedings Wall—a full-color, backlit, floor-to-ceiling display of 146 covers of Proceedings magazine—was dedicated in his honor. We are delighted that his widow, Dr. Jennifer London, is continuing his good works—and grateful that Jennifer chose to recognize her late husband’s commitment to the Institute and the naval profession by naming the Proceedings Wall in Jack’s honor.
