Lieutenant Commander Lunday is an engineering duty officer (EDO) in the Navy Reserve whose assignments have included commanding officer of SurgeMain Tulsa, additive manufacturing analyst at NR Fleet Readiness & Logistics, and EDO with the NR Naval Sea Systems Command engineering unit supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. He holds a bachelor of science in engineering from Mercer University and a master of science in engineering from the University of Arkansas. In his civilian career he is a registered professional engineer in Texas.
