Graduated from Lafayette College in 1937, Professor Probert served throughout World War II in the U. S. Army and had attained the rank of major at the end of the war. He has instructed in political science at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and has been a member of the Department of English, History, and Government, U. S. Naval Academy, since 1947.
