Commander Wright is the commanding officer of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 22 in Norfolk, Virginia, flying the MH-60S Knighthawk and MQ-8B Fire Scout. A 2002 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, his previous tours include service in six different H-60 commands, an air wing staff, and the Joint Staff.
