Captain Stevens is the operational commander and leader of 1,100-plus military, civilian, and auxiliarist members among 14 operating units ensuring the safety, security, environmental stewardship, and prosperity of Virginia’s Marine Transportation System and port complex. He has more than 25 years of experience in operational, intelligence, joint service, and staff assignments, and has attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, University of Michigan, U.S. Naval War College, and National Intelligence University.
