Commander Miante is the commanding officer of TACRon 22. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004 with a bachelor of science in quantitative economics and has a master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas. He flew the SH-60B and the MH-60R with HSL-37. He has also served with HSM-40 and HSM-35. He also previously served on the Joint Staff J-8 Studies, Analysis, and Gaming Division at the Pentagon.
